Fashionable eyewear is one of the most popular accessories to have right now, and 2010 offers some of the hottest new collections available. Eyecessorize, the official blog of the Vision Council, have announced the hottest three trends for men and women for the upcoming Spring season.

"Action Packed" is the latest popular trend for guys. Athletic men from all over the world inspired this trend of eyewear, they're very sporty. Using lots of bold colors for the outlining, this is to create more depth. They also use white or translucent for the frames. Some of the frame fronts have contrasting tones and some are barely tinted. They come in many different shapes and sizes.

Next are retro-specs, which have been in season before, they are still a big hit. These are a classic mixture of round or square frames, with black tortoise frames but some color pattern to the top part of the frames, this is to give a modern look.

The last trend is called "under the radar". These are more mysterious and dark looking and easy to hide behind. The shades match the frames and some wire or metal accents are there to make them look subtle.

One of the newest and most glamorous sets of eyewear is "diva delight". They are over sized, which is in style right now, and the frames come in black, blues, and reds. The frames are angular with high brows, additional jewels, lace, wire, and cutouts give this set of eyewear the perfect accents. Frames and lenses are matching. For a more dramatic look, choose the tinted or mirrored lenses.

"Natural Beauty" is a mixture of different styles of eyewear creating more of an alternative look. It comes in round and small frames, with lots of neutral colors.
