Models Direct Reviews the British Fashion Awards 2010 Nominees - Entertainment - Celebrities

As Fashion Weeks creep up, the nominations for the British Fashion Awards have been announced. Read on to find out who's been nominated for what and modelling agency Models Direct's favourite contenders.

Designer Brand. Burberry, Mulberry, Pringle of Scotland and surprise entry Victoria Beckham have all been nominated for the Designer Brand award. The judges are looking for a leading British designer brand that has excelled and made an impact on the international stage over the past year. While Models Direct were pleased to see that Victoria Beckham had been nominated after just two years of her designer line being made, Models Direct would like to see prestigious brand Burberry get it, especially after Christopher Bailey's dramatic comeback for the company last year.

Model. David Gandy, Lara Stone and Transformers actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley are the contenders for the model category. For this the judges are looking for a model who has emerged as a leading name in the modelling industry and is making a strong mark on the international fashion scene. Models Direct like all of these models and the work they've done, it's too tough to choose!

Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator. This award will go to a British stylist, make-up artist, photographer, art director or producer whose creativity has been a major inspiration and influence in the past year. The nominees are Nick Knight, Nicola Formichetti and Rankin. While Models Direct like the two photographers, the modelling agency believes stylist Nicola should get the award. He has worked with Lady Gaga, and no one can ignore the influence that her look has had on other celebrities over the last year!
